YeaLink Cordless Phones
WebFones supports YeaLink W73 cordless phones.
Cordless phones offer greater mobility and often a louder ring than Polycom office phones; however, if you use cordless phones in high use environments, such as restaurants, you may need to change the rechargeable batteries frequently. It is also important to be aware that cordless phones do not give you access to some of the features available on desk phones, such as call parking. It is for this reason that we often recommend a mixture of corded and cordless phones.

Keep in mind that WebFones allows you to specify speed dial numbers and contacts on the WebFones site. It is recommended that you use the website instead of the phone specific features so that you will have a common experience between all your phone devices.
Changing the Time and Date on the Yealink W73
Date and time are displayed on the idle screen of your handset. The handset obtains the date and time from the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) server by default. If your handset cannot obtain the date and time from the SNTP server, you need to configure the date and time manually.
To configure date and time manually:
- Press to enter the main menu.
- Select -> Date & Time.
- Edit the current values in the Date and Time fields.
- Press the Save soft key.
- Press to enter the main menu.
- Select -> Display -> Time Format.
- Press or to highlight the desired time format, and press the Change soft key. The radio box of the highlighted time format is marked. The time format displayed
To configure the date format:
- Press to enter the main menu.
- Select -> Display -> Date Format.
- Press the “up” and “down” buttons to highlight the desired date format, and press the Change soft key. The radio box of the selected date format is marked. The date format displayed on the LCD screen will be changed accordingly.
