Transferring Calls
Blind Transfer (Recommended)
A blind transfer sends the call immediately without announcing it. The original caller ID is preserved.
- During a call, press Transfer or BlindXfer
- Dial the extension or phone number
- Press Send or Transfer
- The call is transferred immediately
Attended Transfer
An attended transfer lets you announce the caller before completing the transfer.
- During a call, press Transfer
- Dial the extension or phone number
- Wait for the person to answer
- Announce the caller (e.g., "I have John Smith on the line")
- Press Transfer again to complete
- If they don't want the call, they hang up and you're reconnected
Transfer to Voicemail
Send a caller directly to someone's voicemail without ringing their phone.
- During a call, press Transfer
- Dial 99 + the extension number (e.g., 99101 for extension 101)
- Press Send
- The caller goes directly to voicemail
Tips
- Use blind transfer when you know the person is available
- Use attended transfer when you need to introduce the caller
- Use transfer to voicemail when someone is unavailable
- If a transfer fails, you'll be reconnected to the caller
