Create a Routing Extension
Creating a Routing Extension
A routing extension provides an internal access point that allows you to transfer calls directly into call flows or other system destinations. Follow the steps below to create one:
Step #1. Click the (+) Add Extension button on the Extensions page:

Step #2. Select Add Routing Extension and complete the form. Below is a description of each field:
- Extension — The internal extension number used to access this route. Typically 3–4 digits.
- Name — A label used to identify the route within the system.
- Greeting — (Optional) A sound file that plays before the caller is transferred.
- Go To — The destination for the call, such as a call flow or another system location.
