Simple Number Setup
This tutorial walks you through routing a phone number directly to a specific extension.
Step 1: Route the Phone Number
Step #1. On the Numbers page, select the phone number you want to configure.
Step #2. Click the Routing tab to open the routing configuration panel.
Step #3. From the routing dropdown, select Extension, then choose the extension you want the number to ring.

Step 2: Set the Outbound Caller ID (Optional)
If you want the extension’s outbound caller ID to match the phone number you just mapped:
Step #4. Go to the Extensions section and click Edit on the desired exten
