Provision Polycom Phone

Note: Polycom VVX phones are now 7–10 years old, and since Polycom ended support in 2022, many are failing to retain their settings after a reboot or power outage. This is a clear sign the phone has reached end of life and may need to be replaced.


Steps to Provision a Polycom Phone

Step #1. Reboot the phone. While it is starting up, press the CANCEL and SETUP buttons.

Step #2. When prompted for a password, enter the default: 456.

Step #3. Use the down arrow to select Server Menu, then press the checkmark to continue.

Step #4. Change Server Type to HTTP, then press Select.

Step #5. Scroll down to Server Address. Enter the provisioning URL provided by WebFones.
