Edit Phone Buttons
Edit Phone Buttons
This guide explains how to configure and customize the programmable buttons on your VoIP phones.
Overview
The Yealink and Polycom desk phones have buttons on the display that can be programmed from either the Extensions page in the administrator area of the website or from the End User portal (see Extensions).
Some of the buttons that appear on the phone are controlled by the administrator and phone settings, such as hotdesk and park buttons. An administrator can turn those off to give you more user configurable buttons on your display.
Configuring Buttons
To edit phone buttons:
- Navigate to the extension settings on the website
- Select the "Edit Status Buttons"
The phone will automatically update a few minutes after you save the configuration.
